Name: Loch
Gender: Female
Age: [redacted]
Height: 6'10" tall at the shoulders.
Pelt: Black and cerulean blue.
Personality: Restless, guarded, defensive, but mildly intrigued by default. Sometimes actually happy, usually accepting of anything, slightly cynical, and quietly playful. Reserved. She, like most of her friends, is an observer, and keeper of her own peace.
History: Loch has a long history on earth with Liath, her best friend and soul mate. She tends to roam alone, however, because she doesn't really feel at home with a pack.
When she was a pup, her pack was hunted for their pelts and their powers. Having been deemed too young to kill, the poachers in cooperation with a team of scientists stuffed her into a crate with other yelping pups and shipped them all off to be tested on. There she met Liath. For years, Loch was the subject of many tests - magical, physical, and scientific. She grew up isolated from others but forced to hear their mourning. Each night she would lay awake, half conscious from the pain and nausea, but unable to sleep as she listened to the long sorrowful howls of wolves and the pained whimpering and cries of pups. She grew to hate the sounds.
As an adolescent, she was about the size of a normal wolf. Her growth was a bit slower than regular wolves, she aged differently, but the scientists' biggest mistake was in assuming she was finished. They were going to run a few more tests on her then terminate her life; instead they found themselves engulfed in flame and choking on smoke as Loch escaped the building. She met up with Liath who had escaped a few years prior and had come to see what the huge fire was about. The two formed a bond, sharing experiences and exploring the land. They battled the beasts of earth side by side and kept each other safe for the next many years.
To be continued...
