Name: Sadie
Age: Unknown
Gender: Trigender Pyrofox(female)
Appearance/Specs: Face is partially destroyed on the surface, but the peeling, ripped fur which clings stiffly to the smooth bone skull is held in place by a thin, pliable metal plate. This makes speaking a little difficult, since her lips don't move the same. One half of the upper mandible is metal, the teeth sharp and shiny. Four long, slender, limbs extend from a sleek powerful body, and end with large dark auburn paws. Her right hind leg is mechanical, and the skin and fur over it have been worn over time, long gashes now showing the inner works ever so slightly; a tie around the ankle holds the rest of the synthetic-realistic skin down to the paw in place. Her fur is golden, splashed with dark reds, auburn, and black. Where real wings were, two slightly curved metal-plated wooden stumps about 1 foot long and 2 inches in diameter protrude from her shoulder blades. They move as normal wings do, in tandem with her smooth gait and in response to her emotions. One synthetic heart beats unseen between two healthy lungs. Externally, both front legs and shoulders have leather braces to help her move, and just below the surface of the skin lie a series of cogs and spring-loaded dowels covered by a metal shoulder plate purely for form.
3'5", slender, augmented body.
Personality: Pragmatic. Curious, bright-minded, very approachable. Friendly and hospitable, but insecure. She gets snappy when she feels her insecurities rise, then she hides.
History: As far as childhoods go, Sadie's wasn't entirely awful. She was born to an unnamed she-wolf with a beautiful orange and aurburn pelt and to a hulking, brutish jet-black male with two massive black wings. As a newborn, the tiny autumn-colored wolf was whisked away by a travelling circus along with her mother. Though the "recruiters" had originally gone in for the adult female, they saw profit in also obtaining the pup, and brought her along for the ride.
Not only did this guarantee the adult she-wolf's cooperation, the acquisition of the dark-winged pup also gave the circus a future. The as-of-yet unnamed pup was always cooperative and friendly, being naturally curious about her surroundings and oblivious to what awful things were happening to her mother at the hands of the workers and their pet black-wolf with powerful wings and cruel body.
As the small pup grew, she shed her puppy fuzz and the true color of her pelt was brighter and more crowd-dazzling than before. She was trained to perform in the big ring, showing off her beautiful black wings and her flowing scarlet-splashed golden fur. The wolf was raised to accept cheers and elicit good feeling, or be punished for not meeting the bar; self-confidence was sustained superficially by praise of others, self-worth was suspended behind bars. As far as the young wolf knew, this was life. It was her life, it was her mother's life, and from her perspective, from what she was told, she had it very good. For about a year, she continued to "live it up" in the circus as her mother grew restless, until one evening the older wolf disappeared. Life went downhill indefinitely.
