"Quick witted they called her!" a dark colored wolf was howling into the distance. "quick witted, intelligent, and always thirsty for something new!" she seemed to carry on and on. At least till she was cawed at by a tall black bird.

This bird, a raven in particular, was sitting tall on an old fence post that reached way above Max's head. The birds eyes were of a bright peircing blue and it seemed to be glaring straight at the black wolf. "Caw all you want girly, all your gonna get is tall grass and heat from here!" it was mocking her, and even fluttered it's wings at max in emphasis to it's comment.

The dark colored wolf, covered in what appeared to be a brownish-orange tortishell pattarn, and a large head, but small body, glared up at the bird and barked. "Ya aint that wise yourself Peckerz." she smiled playfully, and jumped towards the raven she named.

After a while of silent stares between the two of them, Max had decided to run off into the new area. There was tall grass, and strange animals ahead. There was bound to be someone out here to talk to. A treasure to find, danger, and most importantly- Food! It looked like an all she could eat buffet and boy was she hungry from traveling.

Osiris unfurled his gold and black wings, stretching the leathery skin. His paws slid over the grass as he stretched his back as well. A number if his vertabrae popped and crackled. The male yawned and shook out his fur.

The black and gold wolf sniffed the air for two things: prey and other canids. No prey, but there was another wolf in the area. Immediately his large ears perked up and pushed forward, tail rising as well. The rough, thin fur on his neck spiked up. His bristling fur tingled his skin. "Who's there?" Osiris demanded, his voice not unfriendly, but not entirely trusting. Osiris was not one to trust his own family!

Max came to a halt, sliding in the dirt, and rolling in the grass around her. She was on her back for a moment, but rolled back to her belly, and stood up to the sound, and smell of someone other then her friend nearby. The Raven had flown off at this sign, as he could be considered dinner. She poked her head up out of the grass to take a good look at this stranger.

A male,a strange wolf she'd never seen before, was shouting at her from a distance. wings? what wolf has wings? at this point though it didn't matter. Max was interested in this character, despite the emotions he was putting off. She immediately jumped up towards the male.

"Hello!" Max had a friendly demeanor towards Osiris. Her tail was up and curious, her eyes bright, and she was unafraid. Not worried about anything that this wolf could do. Her young niave mind kept her from worrying, being afraid, or even sensing danger.

Osiris was surprised when the shewolf popped out of the grasses and loped over to him. The dark blue male stepped back, his wings shutting swiftly, head cocked to one side. He blinked curiously.

"Hi there." Osiris stammered oit, still recovering from the shock of friendliness. No one had been friendly to him for...ever! The female looked more average. No wings. No...nothing. He shook out his pelt and took a step forward once again. He held his head high, his tail in a dominat arch a ice his back. His eyes looked down on her with curiosity and wonder.

Max did notice that the male gave a dominant position, but this didn't seem to faze her all to much. Usually a sign of dominance is territorial, he was showing that he was better then her in her mind. She didn't show any sign of dominance, nor submissiveness. Just the same old happy go lucky adventurous wolf.

She heard a caw from her friend in the distance, but paid no mind to it other then a twitch of her ear. Instead, she simply just smiled to this strange new wolf. She was excited as he was different, so there had to be something good out of all this. "My tagged name is Maceroni, but you can call me Max." She pronounced herself loudly, letting all who could hear her know who she is. "You live around here... uh.. what's your name?"

Osiris decided immediately this wolf was no threat. His wings slid close to his sides and his tail lowered to a horizontal line, matching up with the slope of his shoulders. The dark blue male settled his paws in the gras and looked at the female with curiosity. She seemed untaxed by him. He admired that. "I am Osiris." Ge stated bluntly, his eyes blinking slowly, studying her. His ears flicked at the call if a bird nearby. He glanced at the crow and dismissed it with a flick if his slowly lowering tail.
