Lunara walked through the woods. She was a loner, cast out by her pack for... well, her own reasons. It's not like she'd let anyone know. Her black fur shone in the sun peeking through the trees, highlighted by dark gingers and browns. The tips of her fur were snow white, making her very beautiful to look at. Her eyes were the color of emeralds, shimmering like the dew of morning grass. Her claws were very long and sharp, as was all of her families claws. Her fangs were as normal as any other wolf's, but were still very sharp menacing! The black she-wolf would not admit that she may be in great danger... alone in this thicket of woods. She was prepared to defend herself, for she knew how to do so... however, she had never put it into action or practice. She was scared, but she put these thoughts to the back of her mind... or kept trying to, anyway. She was very paranoid, and every little sound she heard froze her in fear. She perked her ears every time and listened all around. But it seemed to be nothing every time. She did not want to be hurt by anyone, and did not seek to hurt anyone else either. Hopefully she'd just reach the end of the forest soon and be able to call it a night in a warm den somewhere, far from here. Also, Lunara was hopeful to catch some sort of prey; she was hungry. OOC: Lunara is from one of my comics; her story is that she gets raped and has pups, and it follows how her pups change her life for the better. So, I wanted to begin that story here ^^

character profile
Sniffing close to the ground, his body was low. He was nearing the edge of his territory, and as an important member of the pack, wasn't allowed to leave the area, unless for the need of food. Their was one other exception, but that wasn't the right time, at least, not to him. He was hunting at the moment so his family could eat tonight, but couldn't find much food in the territory. His white thick fur glistened a bit against the morning dew of the grass, his face, stoic, and concentrated, and his body was tense. He was to keep himself slightly hidden in case of an intrusion on the land. He crawled slowly over the border, his body on full alert, tall ears perked, and eyes shining a sunset orange as he laid his eyes on a brown rabbit. He quickly leaped towards the animal, using his speed and strength to land on the rabbit, but before he could catch it, there was a loud noise. the sound of a log falling over. He had slid over, and into a dead tree, which proceeded down a small slope. The rabbit ran, but he just stood in that spot exhausted, breathing heavily, and standing tall.
((Is it okay if I use multiple characters? It isn't against the rules, but I wanted to make sure it was okay with you for this rp. I won't be till later.))

Lunara did not miss a beat; her hearing was tuned in to everything, and her ears were perked sharply, cautiously alert. She was tapping into every one of her five senses, smelling the air constantly, looking for things in her line of sight that were strange or off, hearing every sound the world around her had to offer, and so on. So, when she all of a sudden saw a rabbit come flying through the bushes and off into the distant trees and undergrowth, Lunara tensed up and knew instinctively that someone had startled it... and it had not been her, for she had not even been close to the prey animal. Immediately after, she saw a log come bursting onto the path that she was walking on. She acted quickly to avoid it, and leaped to the side, rolling onto her side and getting bruised slightly. No, there was someone nearby; the rabbit had not dislodged a whole dead log! Flattening her ears, she stood up with her fur bristling. She did not want to fight anyone, but if she had to she did not want to be caught off guard. Wait, wait... the wolf may not even be intending badly for me, she thought to herself, upset that her circumstances were causing her to be distrustful and paranoid. Bravely she moved up the hill toward where the log had fallen from, up the slope in search of the wolf. Unsheathing her claws and readying her fangs, she prepared for the worst, just in case things went badly.

Red shook his head dumbfounded. What caused him to make such a mistake bewildered him for a good moment. He stood there staring at the log while it fell into the brush below, and almost hit... another wolf? that was a rare sight near his territory, but then he remembered that he was at the edge of it. He leaned back and crouched down, but his white fur must have been easy to see in the dark underbrush of the forest.
His mistake was no longer a concern anymore, but rather, a pack of wolves attempting to claim the area. He made a good examination of Lunara, not knowing her intentions, not knowing anything. The wolf was alone so... no threat Perhaps. Maybe it was an outcast, but not a territorial figure. He couldn't see anything though, just that there was one wolf.
Red could sense the fear, and distrust of the female wolf, and his size certainly wouldn't help the situation. He probably would be extremely intimidating to Lunara, but at the time, her dark fur was hard to recognize where exactly the wolf was. There was definitely someone there though, so he crawled forward.

Lunara could smell the stranger now. He was close by; of course, she could not tell if he was a male or a female, but she supposed that did not matter. A wolf defending its territory was still dangerous to her, and both genders possessed nearly equal strength most of the time. She did not want to appear threatening, but stayed prepared for anything at the same time. She moved slowly ahead, not wanting to be taken by surprise if the wolf was angry. Then, she saw him; he was an Arctic Wolf, very noticeable in the undergrowth, at least in her eyes. His fur was pure white with highlight of silver throughout, mostly on his back along his spine and onto his tail. She believed that the eyes of an individual told a great deal about them, and Lunara was not seeing anything of ill intent in his eyes. Partly sheathing his claws, she began to speak, "Hello? I... I, mean no harm, if that is what you're wondering."She was so nervous! What if she were the threat in his eyes? She'd been so worried about lone wolves wanting to hurt her that she had pretty much completely forgotten about the respect that she was supposed to have for other pack's territories. "Is this your territory?" she inquired, putting her tail between her legs as all wolves did when in front of wolf that had dominance over them. If she had intruded, then this wolf would of course have the dominance over her, and Lunara did not want to infringe on that so she tried to appear as harmless as possible. OOC: Oh and yes! I forgot to reply to your question last time x3 Yes, you can use multiple characters at once in this thread ^^

He stood back up slightly, trying not to appear threatening, now that they were close to eachother, he could truly see who this lone wolf was, and when he did, he was shocked. A lone female? He was always told that females rarely leave there territory alone, so he was now sure this dark coated wolf didn't have a home now. He was to show respect, as she seemed healthy for however long she has been by herself.
His father would have immediately shown dominance, strength, and try to kill, or show the lone wolf out, but he didn't have the guts to be like his father. Nor did he want to be like his father. He spoke calmly, and gazed at her softly. "Are you okay miss?" He remembered the log scuffing her slightly, and knew it was his fault.
He had almost ignored the question of the wolf, and only caught the edge of it, as he was still a bit mystified that there was a female wolf, alone. Once he had finally got a hold of the question, he stood tall. Not that he needed to, he was already taller then the female wolf. "Yes. This territory belongs to my father." He spoke the truth, even though he was sure it would become his soon in the coming year or so.

"I'd be willing to bet that he would not take too kindly to me having wandered into his territory, then," she said nervously, picturing an angry alpha chasing after her to make her leave. She did not mean any harm to anyone, but she had simply missed the signs; she had been oblivious to the scent markers apparently. She had been so paranoid and had always been looking for signs of other wolves all along in her journey, she could not believe that she had missed it! "I am sorry. I am just passing through and should be out of here by nightfall."Of course though... she was hungry, and pack wolves usually had food around that they shared with their pack-mates. She'd love to get some for herself, as she had not eaten in a while. Lunara's stomach was rumbling, and she was worried that the male before her would hear it. Not that it would get her into trouble or anything, but it might give him the idea that if she was hungry she would try to steal their prey. Now that Lunara knew that this was his territory, she would of course never do that... tempting as it may be. OOC: Sorry this is so short, I didn't know what else to write xD

no... no he would not. Red would turn his head slightly as if to check behind himself. Almost as if to make sure his father wasn't there. He knew not to let strangers into the territory, even to pass on through, but he couldn't help but let a stray female wolf be alone for so long. Lone wolves, unless they're searching for a mate, tend to get killed over territory issues, or even worse. Starvation.
At that point he heard Lunara's stomach growl, and at that he knew that she probably hasn't eaten in a long time. If she tried to hunt on his territory, she certainly would get a beat down, and it would probably boil down to him to do so. He frowned at this fact, and didn't like the site of a wolf suffering, even slightly, but he stayed calm none the less.
"Pardon the intrusion on your journey here, after all your in my territory, but I'm concerned for your welfare." He didn't want to sound like he was betraying his family, as he wasn't, but he wanted to make sure this wolf had a safe journey. "T...this is the edge of the territory, and there isn't much food in the territory to begin with. If you would allow me." He paused, unsure if he should ask the she wolf such a question, he was in the dominant position and yet, all he wanted to do was help. "You can hunt to the east of here, there is no territory there. I was going to hunt in that area."
((OOC: Their is no such thing as to short of a post unless it's only one line. In fact that's a pretty good post. It's all about the content of the post, not the size :3 ))

Lunara was very surprised when she heard him suggest a hunting ground to her. Hungry and desiring some food, she gladly accepted. Plus, he asked to hunt with her, having been heading to the exact same hunting grounds. "I would appreciate that," she said friendlily and thankfully. It would feel good to hunt without being afraid that she'd be attacked, because this wolf was the son of the alpha of this territory and he was okay with her, and was going to lead her to a place where there was no owned territory to get a rabbit or two. "Thank you, sir. Hunting with someone else around would be delightful. It's been a while since I've seen another wolf."Lunara chuckled with amusement, trying to keep the air light and humorous. So the white male wolf did not think she was just a poor beggar trying to get food from him. She tried to come off as having a good personality about it. "By the way, what's your name?" She said with a happy smile, all former paranoia going away after she had seen how the male acted toward her. "I am Lunara."

Drazonic walked through the dark woods that towered in the forest elegantly. He was the Alpha of his own pack-- but his pack didn't have any members yet. He had decided to create one after realizing that he felt alone in that lone-wolf life that didn't suit on him at all.
He sighed as his smoky-graphite gray fur blowed with the quiet wind. He could smell wolves around but still Drazz didn't know if he wanted to meet them. He wasn’t on his mood, maybe a little hunt could cheer him up. He sniffed around some minutes before crouching into a bush. His belly touching the cold ground, his eyes scanning the enviroment cautiosly. He stayed like that a long time, hearing attently every single sound that his ears caught, until a hare passed by, walking quietly, without any hurry. He grinned and got ready to jump, and raising his tail he pounced on his victim.
Soon enough, his fangs were going through the animal's flesh, as his throat filled with blood. When the prey stopped breathing, he held it some more minutes and then released it, the meal was served.
