Yes, she had burned it alive. A painful, agonizing thing that no one here could possibly begin to fathom but her. Aleera’s entire right side was marred by burn marks, searing away the beauty she once held and transforming her into this wicked looking beast meant only for the loneliest of nightmares. Before she had taken it down the two of them were busy poking it with their fangs, her damage was swift and to the point, allowing the male to make the final kill. For one so sure he could take on a bear he had taken his sweet time in ending it’s misery. Slowly, painfully, the ebony woman turned her gaze from the dead wolves back upon the nameless male, her gaze as intense as the flames she commanded. ”You killed it for it’s fur? For bedding?” The question was made in shock for such an odd reason. ”Are you so coddled you require the warmth of another’s pelt?” The indifference in her voice began to fade, a shade of disgust coloring her tone.
The burned woman’s gaze was torn from the male to fall squarely upon the gray female, her look never lessening and a low growl behind half displayed teeth. Her words could have been an insult, but they were to general to make Aleera care enough to bother with a retort. On the other hand, White Timber’s temper was reaching it’s breaking point. She could feel it leaking in to the air, the insane need for blood that grew with each passing moment. It was common place for those who did not know of his title to speak to him in such a manner, she had at one time and still did on occasion though there was distinct difference between her and these wolves. The silver brute by her side was attached to his title. It was as much apart of him as his lycanthrope blood, the exact opposite of her. Long had the once Empress forsaken all titles and rank to embark on this journey of revenge. She was no longer a Queen, but a title did not a Queen make and White Timber knew that. She was far more lethal now than she ever had been when she was home because she was no longer bound by those who came before her.
Around them the shadows began to twist and flicker. Spindly fingers reaching out to smear the other two’s legs with ichor and pitch. ”They waste your time Dibbuk. Leave the children to their games. The prey awaits.”

And I just can't look it's killing me!
Aslyan bit back his laughter, ndodding to the other male and then shrugging. "Sure, whatever helps you sleep O mighty king." Anger was rolling off that guy in waves- was someone so insecure that he had to cling to titles? Hilarious. Aslyan had no respect nor care for royals- they were of the same breed that cast his own kind out.
He was now moving back towards the fallen bear, white flakes drifting down and landing against his coat. Aslyan began to poke around to find possible pieces that were salvageable. When the mangled woman spoke he glanced up, tail flicking as though he were to shrug. "It is a lot warmer." The words tumbled off as though it were a fact everyone should know. "A trick I picked up in a human camp. Idiots, the lot of them. But they do have some useful knowledge." Was he coddled? The brute snorted out a mirthless laugh. "You assume that of which you know nothing." Aslyan crouched down shouldering the bears body, flipping it onto its back. Quickly he climbed on top biting into the open wound on its neck, proceeding to skin the creature.

LiathCompletely ignoring the insignificant male who spoke only jargon to himself, the tall, lean she-wolf leapt off the bear as the dire wolf climbed up and began to skin it. He was peculiar, she gave him that. Also smart, though. Whatever works. The pitch and ichor snaking out around her paws was relatively useless as she froze it and stood upon it; the only guaranteed thing it did was antagonize her. Cold, solid turquoise eyes turned to the fellow she-wolf, and a low growl, more like a grumble of displeasure, left the ice wolf's lips, but nothing more. The short battle had taken most of the rage out of her today, which as a good thing for everyone, including herself. It had served its purpose well, de-stressing her mind and stretching her muscles, and now Liath was in too good a mood - if you could call it good - to be contentious.
Instead, she turned to the wolf now working at the bear and politely asked what he was going to do with the meat. "If it is alright with you, I would like to take a bit of it back for my wolves. No waste, no trace. Except for perhaps bones," a trace of a smile passed over her lips. This was true of her whole pack, nothing was left once they were finished with a carcass. No, they didn't eat it completely, but somewhere in an uninhabited barren wasteland lay the ashes and bones of the dead. Once the carrion got a hold of the meat and stripped the rest of the body down, that wasteland was where everything went and burned. -

Royal flames will carve a path in chaos, Bringing daylight to the night Death is riding into town with armor They've come to take all your rights hail to the king i had to admit, i always expected others to just know me. to know my titles, my earnings, my reputation. i tend to forget i am not in equtera anymore, but i find that is no excuse on their behalf. worthless fools, they know nothing of the lycan king. sad for them. aleera was far too modest, more modest than perhaps anyone i've ever seen. but she was a queen damnit, and should be respected as such. and if she wouldn't make sure of it, then i would. there would be not a fool i hadn't encountered that would not know my name. baritones did not address the two who wandered off to skin the bear, to use it in all senses. aleera was right, coddled little pups needed fur to be warm? survival of the fittest. "is this land full of fools?"
i was trying hard to control my anger, but when the pair of the bear hunters turned their backs on me, the beast within banged against my rib cage and yanked at his shackles. the sneer i had formed into a full fledged snarl, yet not a noise was emitted. noxious bridgework exposed entirely, lethal and seeking. but i did not move, merely stole a glance at aleera. "they are of no use. the ice freak shall remain up the male's ass, and the male shall remain as such - before i kill the both of them, i'd better take my leave."i spoke, directly to aleera, but didn't take into consideration to hush the tones, no. if they heard me, good. if not, who cared. with that, i pivoted, turning with impeccable power and might. herculean mass of iron, onyx, and ivory now advanced in the opposite direction i'd come, and if aleera were to follow, so be it. if not, perhaps another time then. @tagtagtag

The unnamed one was cocky, self assured. Not unlike a number of wolves Aleera had known in the past. A number of wolves both left alive and torn asunder by her jaws, her grace, it all merely fell upon how badly they wanted to irritate her. In this particular incident, the want to rip him to shreds did not rise up along her spine. She saw it as a waste of effort, a waste of her precious time of which he had taken up too much already. He scoffed at White Timber openly and then turned to answer her with the same amount of sarcasm. He spoke of tricks learned by whatever a ‘human’ was and then claimed she knew not what she spoke of. ”I know you attacked a creature for it’s hide, prolonged the fight with it, then complained when I took it down for you. Think what you will, but at least I am not killing for what I already possess like a reasonless child.” The ice using female said nothing, and instead turned to that same male asking for portions of the kill to take back to her pack, yet as the shadows flickered around her paws she shook them, icing them as though something bothered her. Orange eyes like the inferno watched as the shadows danced around her, reaching out and grasping at her with each time she removed it from herself. Aleera saw what no one else could. Not a wolf in this life had her vision yet she had met those with a heightened sense to know when the incredibly wrong gripped their very souls. It was like ice in the blood.
Aleera watched for a few moments more but then with a dismissive flick of her tail she turned from the duo and turned back to White Timber who was also making his final comments before he too chose to take his leave before more blood was spilled upon the ground. She did not think she had met such a wasteful wolf in her life, attacking and killing for furs of which his own body already had. It was warmer? Such pretentious trite, and she had thought White Timber obnoxious when she’d first met him. The silver and the ebony turned with one another the group breaking into two. Aleera was silent for time though many questions lingered in her mind meant for the steely creature at her side, but she would not utter these until they were far enough away from prying ears.

By now the cream beast was busy skinning what was left of the bears vessel, making a clear point to ignore any and all words coming from both black beasts. They were annoying and seemingly lacking in certain departments- boring on top of it all. Aslyan's white framed radars perked, attention focusing in on the icy lady who seemed to sit on his side of the field. She was curious about the leftover meat. The canine shrugged nonchalantly, "its as much mine as it is yours." Aslyan leaped from the bears body, landing with a dull thud dragging the skin with him. The other side would need to dry. Dropping the skin his pink eyes traveled back to the unnamed grey woman. "But how about we both take a break and get something to eat." Aslyan flipped the fur pelt over letting the skin dry in the sun.
Pink hues danced in the dark duo's direction but both were long gone. It probably made him happier than he should have been. "My name is Aslyan." The dagger fanged canine finally admitted once they were alone.

LiathWell. The other two didn't seem to give a rats ass, and Liath couldn't give a rats ass about them. As drained of wrath as she was, she was still in top form and had the energy to put into being less than kind in her opinions. "What an odious pair, especially the male. He can march his haughty, insufferable mass of dead weight off into an ever-burning pack of immortal insurrectionists. See how mighty he is when mangled worse than the female," she snarled, "disabled, dismembered, and still spouting about being the king. Bah." Ice snaked out along the ground beneath her paws, but instead of cutting over the grass and spreading out, everything cracked and melted within seconds of formation. she turned to Aslyan and inclined her head, a hint of a smile on her lips.
"Pleasure. I am Liath." Her voice, though cool and a bit impersonal, was smooth and not unkind. She had no qualms with the large, pink eyed wolf who called himself Aslyan, and addressed him so. "Lovely day, isn't it? Despite the less than favorable interaction with The Royals." These last two words slipped off her tongue dripping with impertinence. Liath held no love for the pompous or the imperious. White Timber had not earned her respect and he would not be receiving it any time soon. His partner was guilty by association, at this point, as the she-wolf's mind reeled faster and faster, dark thoughts invading her usually apathetic state of mind. -

i had no time to waste on these commoners. i had a new land to discover. and with the fools to our backs squawking, i'd wondered if they'd ever learned the trait of proper respect. whether one liked, loved, or hated another of higher stature, they should show respect in all regards. in all aspects. poor things, they were never even taught these simple things. or, perhaps their parents and guardians were complete failures and tried - they were just too stupid to process it.
in any case, now with aleera here -err, around - i knew i wasn't alone if indeed i ever felt it. and i could converse with someone else, a leader, an empress. even though she tossed her titles and crown without hesitation, i could never do such a thing. i dind't matter to me that i was away - that the king was away. i'd return, and when i did, i'd have no qualms about reminding every single fool who i was. who i am. for i am white timber.
we walked along for a moment, myself keeping silent as i began off in a different direction from the fire marred queen. before departing from her entirely, i gave her a stern look - but such was just my countenance. i gave a curt nod, a deep rumbling, "mmh." then began on my way to wherever it is i could discover. she could follow if she'd like, though i highly doubted she would.
