The night came quickly enough. With it came the sights, sounds, and smells of it, so different yet so similar to what she had come to know in Orladris. It was strange to know what she knew now and think that her search would make any difference. So she would find her blue-eyed demon, kill it, save the world and such...But would the world ever really be saved? To her the answer was the same as it had always been. Revenge. A need for the blood of the one who had ruined everything. Who took the lives of those she most cared for and left none but her alive...of course, that was not for lack of trying to kill her. For a long time she had not tried to justify the atrocity she would commit, remarking that it wasn't about revenge, it was about dogs tearing at each other until there was nothing left. Now, not even her broken mind could twist the truth of the matter. In this world there was real evil and there was nothing any of them could do to change that. Regardless, the whispers of what lurked in the shadows remained with her. They directed her path in search of her demon and before too long Aleera found herself at the base of a mountain range.
The old burns that marred her form stung with the constant movement of travel, the sun beating down upon her but night promised relief. As did the scent of water that wafted into her nose from afar. Her darkened frame, though large blended well with the coming of night...leaving nothing of her to say she was there except the smell of fire and smoke. Over gently rolling hills the beast did move with purpose and swiftness uncommon for a creature of her stature, but Aleera was not concerned with how other perceived her. She moved as she wished, did as she wished, and right now the one thing she wanted made her ears perk forward with it's gentle lapping sounds. A stream deep enough to sink her paws into rolled down a predetermined path along the valley of the hills. Upon the shore the woman eaten by fire peered upon the shimmering surface to see the ugliness of her features and the moon lingering off in the background. For a long moment Aleera remained like that, until a dismissive grunt escaped the warg and she waded into the shallow depths. Lowering her form into the water, burn side down she felt the sting of it before the relief and slowly, taunt muscles uncoiled and she became as relaxed as she would ever be.

I can do bad all by myself Dainty paws made no sound as the sleek toned female trotted over the beaten path, tracking a mountain goat. With a single fire ball the canine could achieve victory but today she was feeling restless, needing to busy her mind from its depressed thoughts. Geisha had always been a very social creature but after traveling to this uncharted territory, she felt nothing but alone. A thick dark sky blanketed the horizon with millions of tiny twinkling lights. Perhaps Frags was up there somewhere, looking down at her. Even if Geisha never admitted her true feelings for the old mangled brute; she loved him. Greed and obsession was her downfall in the end. If only they never made that last run...
Engulfed by thoughts Geisha never even noticed the stream until her paw was under water, the touch was cold and shocking making the hairs along her neck stand. Quickly retracting her paw with a hiss of displeasure shaking the water off. Ruby reds danced over to the near by mountain base no doubt where her kill had wondered. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed something laying amidst the babbling river. A body. Curiosity drew her in like a moth to a flame, ignoring how disgruntled the water made her. It was a large canine..of some sort. Seeing the beasts chest rise and fall she knew it was not dead. So what was this? The white bitch jumped back eyeing them warily. "Are..." Why was she even asking? Its not like she cared! Still, the words tumbled out like a disgusting vomit. "You okay?"

a pair of discernible, yet familiar, perfumes clung to the wind as it passed me by. it drew me to them, knowing each of them individually, almost intimately. geisha and aleera. two fire goddesses in one area - they'd need a referee. but geisha wouldn't be harmed, no, for she had precious cargo. aleera wouldn't be harmed, no, because i wouldn't allow it. as i turned directions, paws quickened their pace if only by a hair, for i was now growing more nervous with the thoughts of the two going at it. blasting each other wit fire balls or whatever it is they did. in any case, i'd have none of it. it wouldn't rightly matter if i didn't know aleera, if i didn't know geisha. if the two didn't actually mean a little something to me. they'd never hear that coming from my mouth, although i was sure it was painfully obvious.
running was not my thing, it was apparent in the sheer size of my stature and the abundant muscle mass which wrapped itself around every bone and ligament. so i loped, a slow glide across the land, like distant thunder - a herd of equines - rolling across the earth's face. each paw left a massive indentation in it's wake, the imprint impressive and considerably different than the average wolf's. with the slow strides, i breathed heavily, steadily, until finally the pair came into view. however, aleera was actually quite invisible within the pitch. but the mere glint of onyx fibers within the moon's light gave way to the possibility she remain there. and as a bright contrast, the lovely geisha stood with her stark white coat seemingly to observe something - the glinting body, which i assumed was aleera.
without further hesitation, but a much slower pace, i approached the girls. brilliant lenses surveying them as i came just in time for geisha to ask aleera if she was alright. "i assume she's calming the scream of her marred skin." i could very well be wrong, but if i knew aleera, i knew she sought the water's loving caress for such a thing. as i did just for the sheer touch of it. "the dragon only rests." i spoke pointedly at geisha, baritones a soft lull as i turned away from them, now a bit satisfied with the situation. i braced myself against a large boulder, facing the pair as i sat against the rock's cold face.

There was something upon the wind, barely drown by the scent of water and mud that filled her nostrils now. For a long time Aleera observed this scent, remaining in a restful position in the waters depths, soothing the constant ache of the burns that marred her once beautiful frame. Her and there she picked out new, nuanced features of the smell until it became distinguishable…Yet by this time, the sound of feet in the water not far from where Aleera rested now echoed upstream to announce the presence of the other. A female wolf, the dragon was positive of that much and her eyes had yet to even open to observe this new creature who now, slowly approached. The sound of water sloshing about kept the ebony woman aware of them at all time, their smell growing until it over powered the scent of the creek bed. When it stopped the once Queen could feel their eyes upon her, yet she made no move to acknowledge them though still painfully aware of each move they made through her other senses until finally a voice broke over the babbling of the creek.
The features that marked her as eaten by fire were largely hidden by the way she lay, yet when her eyes opened the luminescent feature of them was like looking into the fire of the deepest hell. Before Aleera had the chance to speak however, a familiar voice like thunder over the mountain pass echoed in her ears, forcing that intense gaze away from the alabaster female to the steel brute whom she knew to be White Timber. He remarked upon why she had chosen to take to laying in the water, which only made the hellhound narrow her eyes ever so slightly before hardened muscle rippled under her obsidian pelt. With a slow yet powerfully poised movement, Aleera rose from her resting place to stand before both wolves. She was not built unlike White Timber, a thing created for dealing and taking damage in battle and the many marks upon her skin were her trophies of such a hard life. The way in which White Timber addressed the red eyed woman suggested to the warg that he had met her somewhere before, though her like was not at all familiar to her. In fact Aleera had not seen the silver brute since they split apart after that spat over the bear killing, it was not impossible for him to meet others when she had not. ”Not anymore.” Aleera remarked solemnly, citrine eyes passing between both wolves.

I can do bad all by myself If Geisha were to guess this creature knew she was here. Depthless black lights twinkled in the wargs skull, it was watching her. The much larger female lifted up looking at Giesha, probably trying to decide if she knew her. Then, her jaw seemed to flex as if to speak, but thunderous paws approached them. Before he arrived the ivory lady knew it was White Timber his smell tickling ember kissed navel cavities. What could he possibly want- maybe he was just keeping tabs on her. "Timber, fancy seeing you here. What brings you my way?" A ghost of a smirk crinkling the edges of her dark lips.
There were no greetings exchanged, the man wondered in speaking for the black night she-beast. Vermilion hues found themselves crawling over the dragon's marked body; half of which seemed to be fire damage, along with numerous scars. This woman seemed to have crawled from a deep dark place. "Certain plant saps work better to sooth burns." Geisha offered, knowing how painful scorches could be. Salty sorrowful words oozed off the other lady's vocals. "What burned you?" Geisha was curious maybe too much so.

the tone in geisha's voice made it seem i was stalking the girl, and i couldn't help but scoff. she flatters herself. she may be under my protection, but that didn't mean i was stalking the woman, no. in fact, this was purely coincidental. "pure coincidence my dear." baritones boomed out toward geisha, as my eyes fluttered to the no doubt irritated aleera. countenance remained rather steeled as i observed the pair, geisha inquiring about aleera's burns. it was amusing to think she'd even entertain the thought of informing another, for i don't even know that reason - and i was the only one here who even half way knew her.
"oh i'm sure that's a tale for select ears, neither being yours or mine, sweet geisha." i chimed in, a small half grin playing with steely lips as my tassel gave a flick of anticipation. i wondered aleera's reaction to this, if at all. she may turn and leave us, finding a different spot to rest her oh so weary bones and carapace. even if she did, and this meeting was cut short, it was still a small batch of entertainment. "no matter, we all have secrets." i said plainly, looking from one distaff to the other - stark differences, yet flaming similarities.

Water rolled off the ebony woman’s form, dripping back to their source and for what did not leave in that manner escaped from her form in steam. It wafted off her body due to her internal flame, drying her and making her seem several times more otherworldly than she already did. The woman of white greeted Aleera’s old pack mate, knowing his name and everything, which only served to solidify what the dragon had already suspected. It mattered not to her if they knew each other, but there was no such thing as useless information. The tone however colored their relation as something deeper than a mere passersby experience and the Warg felt the slightest pull of curiosity before it was ripped apart by her ever gripping indifference to anything that did not serve her purpose in this world. It took but one instance for White Timber to address the female before the once Empress deduced their status for one another. Not since she had met the man has she ever heard him refer to anyone as ‘my dear’, it was almost astonishing on it’s own, yet the further this interaction went on the more the dragon was convinced. They had mated and it was all to possible the alabaster creature with eyes like rubies carried a new batch of pups for the man who so did love his legacy. She came upon this conclusion by the way he acted…not simply toward the white female but also for Aleera. He was doing his best to defuse any possible agitation by answering for her and it made her wonder if he thought she appreciated words being put into her mouth. Though she was not accustomed to speaking when it was not required, she did not need others doing it for her.
He again referred to the woman Aleera now knew to be named ‘Geisha’ as another endearing word which caused the hellhounds fiery gaze to pass over the slender female altogether toward the bulky male. Words did not escape her, but the look in those eyes was so clear a blind man could feel their intention. ’Do not speak for me.’ If he knew her so well, then he would know that the burned woman was not someone who simply attacked another for the sport of it. In all their time, he knew her capable in combat but had never once seen her fight someone for any less of a reason than to get her dire information on her blue-eyed demon or to reserve her own life. If he truly wished to help his child barer, then he would speak for her and her alone. Though the two of them had become…something resembling kinship while dealing with their trials in Orladris, the two of them had almost always been too similar in their dominant natures to truly get along well. Every so often, instances such as these where the clashing of their personalities dotted their history…yet none more finely than the first time they met. It was almost like thinking about a dream you had years ago, and until recently, Aleera had questioned if Orladris had ever really happened. Once her message was made clear, the demon slayer let her citrine eyes glide back to the white female. ”Fire.” She announced, a snap of white hot embers escaping her jaws while blackened smoke rose from her nostrils and gnarled lips. The answer was short and vague. Though she disliked White Timber speaking for her she had never said he was wrong…The story behind her burns, behind her everything, was not for the ears of those whom Aleera did not know. She did not want sympathy, she wanted revenge and no one need no her reasons for it.

Geisha craned her neck toward the water, lapping it up with her blackened tongue. She was listening as white timber spoke; it was hard not to, his voice carried. As she lifted her crown the alabaster woman raised her brows offering a humm in reply; it was to be taken anyway he'd interpret it. White Timber spoke for the large fire bitten woman, she tilted her head those ruby red eyes squinting ever so slightly. What was he doing? "Of course." The woman spoke politely, not a crack of acidity showed in her features nor the air around her; Geisha was blessed with the talents of acting.
Her legs were growing stiff so she moved, water sloshing around her heated frame in a hissing protest. She stopped, sitting on the bank, outside of the water. Water has always in some was made the white lass uneasy. Twink peeks tilted toward the unnamed woman, her mouth spitting white hot embers as she spoke. "How unfortunate." She didn't feel the need to press on this matter, instead she found a new one. "You two know one another?" It was blatantly clear, even a half blind idiot could see it.

"you two know one another?" ah, so it began. it was as per usual that i would acquaint myself with all females - even the wenches - in order to familiarize myself. which ladies would be suited for a life style i could grant them, and which ladies couldn't be bothered with the idea - not even to simply entertain it. my arrangement with geisha was strictly business, purely something we both wanted for the sake of legacy. and we would have our legacy, two formidable forces coming together in the most intimate of ways to create and concoct something - or somethings - to become the future of this world. all in our names, of course.
the pointed look from aleera came to me in loud screams, waves across the breeze's carry as she seemed to have been rather upset with me for attempting to diffuse the situation. i glared directly back at the empress of fire, unwilling to break and bend. but even aleera should know how far i'd go to protect my legacy. how far i'd go to protect even her. the pair of ladies before me could fend for themselves just fine, that i wasn't worried about. what i was worried about was the outcome of such determination and strength of each lady that something so much as a few sour words could collide. such collisions could create something rather morbid, sinister, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake. and i'll be damned if it's at my own expense. or any of my unborn childrens' expenses. let us not forget who i really am.
in any case, i let silence and a sly half grin remain between the trio here, unwilling to bend to the whims of these ladies. but wouldn't i anyway? such a confusing situation, delicate even. they'd dare not teeter their attitudes in my presence, lest they feel the full wrath of someone who has way too much to lose. a brow arched in response to geisha's words, and a simple, soft, dip of the muzzle. "yes, we know one another. but perhaps- not in ways you'd expect." oh, was i one to quake in careful consideration of my words, for the sake of aleera's feelings? of course not. geisha would hear me and so would aleera, and if aleera mistook it as my speaking for her - well that's the girl on fire's own fault. "i had gathered a pack back in...well, the world we came from." and even that wasn't half way the truth. but how could i explain something so strange to geisha, one who might not understand what i even meant? would she believe me if i explained that the gods took both aleera and myself from our separate worlds to mash us into one, where we were to play a vital role but instead were spat back out here. she'd not believe me, i was almost certain of it. "aleera was my ambassador. my adviser." i stated, that there was a full truth geisha could understand. my eyes shifted from between geisha and aleera for a moment, before settling upon geisha to finish.

Unfortunate is not quite the word Aleera would describe the events that molded her into the monstrosity she had become. A woman of great and terrible power, with a broken mind, and the determination to see the entire world burn for the sake of her revenge. She had no care for others anymore, any sense of compassion that was left in her was hopelessly eclipsed by the sheer indifference and hatred that clouded her every thought. The burned Queen could have easily taken offence to the girls choice of words, but she did not, for as broken of mind as she was where shadows spoke to her and demons plagued her every waking moment…she was not without reason. How could she condemn the child barer to death for speaking on a matter she knew nothing about. Even in her rage filled walking corpse, Aleera knew the difference between willing stupidity and out right ignorance and so, shrugged away the words with little more than a dismissive flick of the tail. Instead, as she remained in the shallows of the water and the white femme removed herself from it, blackened ears following faster than the swing of her mighty head, leaving tendrils of black smoke in her wake. Geisha asked the most obvious of questions then, something she could simply have assumed due to the language used but did not and Aleera had no qualms this time with White Timber answering in her stead.
The Dragon was of little words, most who crossed her path knew that, and stupid questions often only frayed her patience when dealing with others. The silver brute began his answer directly and quickly clarifying that their relationship - if such could even be called - was not as the white woman might have been thinking. The idea of Aleera and White Timber ever being intimate, it was laughable at best and a hell bound remark at worst. No one here knew the past by which forced Aleera to form this type of thinking. One could look upon her and simply assume she had never been a mother, had never known a lovers touch, and she did not blame them…But there was a time in her life when she had been apart of these things and when those things were taken from her the deepest of loyalties could never be broken…Not even when the mind did. White Timber went on to explain he had gathered a pack back in the world they had learned to be Orladris but spared Geisha the details and the burned Empress could understand why. For anyone who had not been there the concept was beyond outlandish and so, for the sake of sparing a boring and possibly aggravating tale he skipped to the important bit. Aleera had been his advisor, his ambassador, using her fierce appearance to drive discord among the other packs who would have the backbone to pick a fight with the likes of them. Beyond that however, she was woman of supreme pedigree and deadly training among her worlds largest empires of the continent. She was a warrior in battle first, and became Empress of seven nations later in her life and though political warfare had never been her desired thing nor her strongest of aspects…Aleera was capable of bending those around her to her whims when the time came with only the force of words at her disposal.
There were few of matched background within Orladris that White Timber could possibly use to his benefit that would let him willingly. Aleera did not help him out of the good of her heart, nor because she thought he made a good King at the time, but because she needed what he offered as much as he needed what she had. In a world of Gods, demons, monsters, and so much more, it was not a land where the weak could survive. Not in the middle of a holy war. ”Indeed.” She remarked curtly, eyes spanning between the two with a careful, calculated gaze.

I can do bad all by myself
After a long moment of quiet White Timber spoke up. Perhaps he made it a habit to speak for others- either way it didn't matter; as long as he wouldn't try doing it to her. Geisha noted his explanation for this other place was delayed- there was more to this story too. So many secrets. Then again who didn't have secrets, she had many. Geisha's red gaze flicked between the two a moment. Once a king- both once in a position of great power. The doll gave a dismissive flick of her ear, lids growing heavy and hanging in a lazy state. She was very aware of the hunger knotting in her gut, but for now it would be ignored. Her children could wait-- mommy was working. "Have you any thoughts of reclaiming your throne?" Now geisha was gazing directly at the golden eyed wolf. "This place is ripe for the picking." And it was. There were no other packs here to challenge a rule. Liath had a pack..but more or less it was small and nomadic.
She found herself watching the dragon again. This woman never seemed to be happy about anything; but with a face like that who would be? As she stared into those obsidian depths she could see there was much to tell behind them. "You could create an army- and then..no one would ever stand in your way again." She wasn't speaking to anyone particular.
Geisha knew White Timber would be the easiest to convince out of the two. It would be a godsend if they agreed. But her job was done- geisha had planted a small seed within their minds; with luck and time it might grow.
