Would you like to have the possibility to have your own Packlands? I was thinking that Active Packs that have more than ten members should be able to claim a territory and make their own Packlands. Wouldn't the Forum get filled with Pack Territories? This would be only for a Season, so the Forum doesn't get filled with Claimed Packlands If a pack which owns a Packland goes inactive, the other packs with +10 Members should be able to claim it, since it will be taken as an abandoned territory. What are Packlands?
Packlands are Claimed Territories that a Pack owns. More than one Claimed Packland per Forum User wouldn't be likely allowed, since they would be very scarce and hard to get, and it wouldn't be quite fair if not. Who has the possibility to create a Packland ? Only Planet Wolves. But Alphas would be allowed to claim an exsistant land for their Pack to use.
Anyhoo, please vote or comment what you think ^^

Well, Silas decided that at the beggining of FC, that's why theres a board called "Supernova Packlands". A female Planet Wolf called Nova created it ^^

A Planet Wolf is an hybrid of a Planet and a Wolf (Yeah, don't know how that even happened) which usually has the power to alter or create Places on the Earth. (For species allowed: See Here )

That was a surprisingly straightforward name. "Planet wolf" hybrid of Planet and Wolf. Haha. Sounds good though. I want to ask, however, if you claim a packland as a non-planet wolf, do you have to have a pack made up of users of FC? Or can you have like, a NPC-type pack, where the alpha is your actual wolf and the rest of the pack just came along with the wolf. I ask because it would be nice to give Liath a packland, but no one here is in her pack, it's just a pack I created in the course of her history.

Actually, I think that's up to Silverblood. But I think it has to be made of users, though it could have some NPCs. The Packlands are scarce and hard to get, and I'd like for every user to be able to Roleplay in one, even if they don't own it. But that's completely up to our admin.

Alright. If not, then I'll just have certain threads with her pack in the same spot, but that will only apply to the threads, it doesn't affect others in the same area with a different thread. Cool, sounds good to me.

I agree with what you said there, Draz. FC is a role-play where there are no limits, so a completely NPC pack is allowed, but not recommended because it would be better if every user got a chance to RP in a Packland.
I think your idea works well btw ^^

Nova wasn't a planet wolf, she was a celestial wolf. Like my own character Starborn, though he doesn't have powers.
I can understand why only wolves with earth-manipulating powers can be the only ones to create packlands, but I think all packs (of 10+ members I suppose) should be able to have pack boards. And not just by scavenging abandoned boards. Even if it's entirely played out through IC where a new pack finds a home and then makes a board out of it.
We could have a separate category for packlands so that it's less cluttered. Currently we only have 28 wolves (with bios), so that's just under three packs that would even be able to create territory boards. An extra two or three boards (with sub-boards) isn't going to make things cluttered at all.

What if when a pack reaches 5+ members they could register as a offical nomadic pack, until they reach 10+ members (when they can claim land).
maybe have a cap limit for max amount of official packland boards too.
One last thing. Can someone challenge an alpha for their land / pack?

I like Rev's idea
And, it could work, Grim. But maybe it would be somewhat harsh since Alphas did so much effort onto creating/finding? Their territories.
By the way, I think that the two Alphas (or one) should RP out how they find the territory and describe it, then contact an Admin or Mod (Well, likely an admin since we cannot create boards) with their RP thread to wait for acceptance.

Its not necessarily that harsh- it happens you know. New leaders could have a certain time period of immunity however. Perhaps specific guidelines to issue a challenge as well. If not eh, just a thought.
You mean the leader applying should contact the admin with an application for the territory?

Hmm not necessarily. Just a RP thread
(Practically "Wolf 1 and Wolf 2 were walking and oh Well they said lets make this territory ours" but much longer)
